Mr. McCarthy's entire career has involved investing in and structuring financing transactions for lower middle market businesses.
Mr. McCarthy was one of the original partners of Gateway Associates, the Two Rivers predecessor organization, joining the group in 1984. Among his earlier successes were Novellus Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVLS), and BMC Software Incorporated (NYSE: BMC).
Since 1991, Mr. McCarthy has focused primarily on technoloy related investments in information and communications industries. Representative investments include: Bridge Information Systems, a leading global financial data network (acquired by Reuters); NetSolve, Incorporated, network management services (acquired by Reuters); NetSolve, Incorporated, network management services (acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc.); PaylinX Corporation, software systems for enterprise-wide electronic payments (acquired by CyberSource Corporation); Savvis Communications Corporation, a global Internet backbone provider (NASDAQ: SVVS); Tivoli Systems, Inc., distributed system management software (acquired by IBM); and TNS Incorporated, a global provider of data communications for payment processing (NYSE: TNS).
Mr. McCarthy currently serves on the board of Asynchrony Solutions, Inc. a systems integration firm specializing in middleware architecture and custom application development; and BATES Sales Company, an industrial equipment distributor.

Mr. McCarthy earned his BSBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, where he is a regular guest speaker at the graduate school. Mr. McCarthy also has an MBA from St. Louis University.
Mr. Dill joined Gateway Associates in 1995, after a distinguished career in the global manufacturing, industrial controls and systems, electronics, and online data information markets.
Mr. Dill was an important contributor to the early growth of St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Company. His responsibilities covered a myriad of positions during his 22 year tenure including corporate development, international operations, operating responsibility for 13 divisions in the electrical and electronics markets and responsible for the Emerson Technology Group, which included Emerson's venture capital arm, Innoven.
In 1987, Mr. Dill left Emerson to become President, COO and director of ANX Corporation, a NYSE-listed global supplier of passive electronic components. In 1990, Mr. Dill returned to St. Louis as CEO of Bridge, an online provider of trading and financial information to the institutional equity markets.
Because of Mr. Dill's broad combination of relationships, operating and private equity experience, he serves as a director of two NASDAQ-listed companies: Zoltek Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZOLT) and TransAct Technologies, Incorporated (NASDAQ: TACT). Additionally, Mr. Dill serves on the board of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF), a full-service regional brokerage and investment banking firm.
Mr. Dill received his BS with Honors from Yale University and his MBA from Harvard University.
